Mighty Microsoft keep reminding me that my machine is ready for Windows 11 but am I? Most opinions I have heard is that it's a decent improvement in general performance. The important questions is how does it sit with BMS? Is it a happy relationship or does it screw things up.

Your opinions and advice would be welcome and I'm sure other flyers would be interested in them as well as me.

Hello.

I upgraded to Windows 11 a few months ago. I spend a lot of time playing BMS and haven't noticed any performance issues. The game works stably. The system itself is also in my opinion very stable and does not cause problems during use.

@majkel Have been on 11 for some time now and have had no issues with anything BMS wise. Currently run the following programs along with BMS and have had no performance or other issues:
BMS 4.35 and 4.36
Opentrack
Helios
Voiceattack/FoxVox
Streamdeck
Thrustmaster Target Scripts

@majkel and @lonewolf_flyer

Thanks for the responses.

Do you see issues outside of BMS with it and have you noticed any performance improvements?

@griffin The only problem that I noticed is a problem with a Kernel-EventTracing and I don't know what it is.

@majkel Dang it... 😊 Didn't catch that...

@griffin Nothing really bad, have had some minor issues with stuff like setting wallpapers and minor stuff like that, but nothing that has been a show stopper.

@subzero Well I made the move to Windows 11 last week and I have to say that there have been no issues at all. All my peripherals work as they should (Warthog, TIR, mfds). So far so good.

Hi, same for me, no problems, BMS 4.36, DCS open beta 2.7 and more, all fine in Windows 11 at the moment.
